Carbon Ratio Controlled in-situ Synthesis of Ordered Mesoporous Hybrid Silica/Carbon Materials via Soft Template Method

A strategy for the synthesis of hybrid ordered mesoporous silica-carbon (Si/C) materials with moderate pore volume and surface area has been developed from pre-calcinated MCM carbon precursor Tectonagrandis (TG) dry leaves powder by direct loading method. The pre-activated (PAC) TG was prepared assistance sulphuric acid partial chemical activation controlled studies method indicate that PAC is a better preparation Si/C material than activated leaves. By this strategy, content in silica matrix fixed up to 50 weight percentages respect renders novel highly (OMSC) material. synthesized are completely characterized physico-chemical analyses. observed 2θ values (2θ = 1.15o, 1.5ο, 1.8ο) SAX’s analysis, XRD patterns thermogravimetric analysis considerably different coated materials. OMSC containing high chosen dye adsorption exhibits excellent behavior Methylene Blue (MB) 97% short span time. effects dosage, contact time initial concentration MB were discussed.
